During this month of December, Talk at the Table is publishing a post each day with a focus on slowing down during Advent.
Here’s the opening post:
Browse through the days by visiting the main site and scrolling down, reading backwards through the journey.
Another place you may want to swing by to experience a contemplative Christmas thought or two is Holy Experience. Ann Voskamp offers numerous Advent thoughts, including 4 Ways to Celebrate Christ in Christmas.
Finally, do visit the Christmas Change blog. Take a few minutes to enjoy the devotional posts that are contributed by a wide range of bloggers. Ponder the inspiring thoughts and stories.
They may change the way you view Christmas.
They may change you.

Oh, Ann. Thank you so much for posting this here. We are all trying in our own ways. This makes me so happy, so humbled.

okay, did you see Sam’s post today? Did he drive you crazy? (in the funnest of ways?)
Also, at Seedlings you asked about art curriculum. Uhhhhh…
Anyway, so how are things?

I did. I sat staring at the post for a long time, wondering what I could say in response! I wanted to maintain a level of humor, but haven’t come up with anything yet.
And I’d still love to know what you do to draw out (tee-hee) the artist in your daughters.
Anyway, things are good. How about you?

Wish I had seen this BEFORE I wasted my Christmas break away watching TV! Thanks, Ann. Your blog has some great thoughts.
