I posed a simple question at my author-blog:
This Christmas, as schedules grow more hectic and shopping threatens to consume …
What do you want to be sure not to miss?
It turns out there is a lot that people want to be sure they don’t miss.
As a result, people are simplifying and slowing down some aspect of their Christmas celebrations:

- The season to take time … really all year.

Are you seeking a simpler, slower Christmas this year?
Have you blogged about it?

It’s hard for us to slow down at Christmas because my hubby and I work at a professional theater where the holidays are are busiest season. But we’re trying to use our nights and days off to spend time as a family (deocrating, watching good old-fashioned movies) and working on homemade gifts with the kids, instead of going to lots of events and doing tons of shopping. A night by the fireplace in our PJ’s has become our favorite kind of Christmas activity.

Dena: You really sound like you are making the most of your schedule–enjoying your work while preserving “down” time. Unplugged, hanging out by the fireplace in PJs sounds like an awesome slow-down solution to me! Thanks for commenting!
